Imari Porcelain Covered Tea Jar

This Imari porcelain covered tea jar features a classic ovoid silhouette meticulously hand-painted in a palette of overglaze enamels and underglaze blue. The body is decorated with an expansive, asymmetrical floral design showcasing a large iron-red and gold-gilded peony flanked by stylized blue foliage, trailing vines, and scattered multi-colored florets on a clean white ground.
