This premium series from Mattel, now definitively discontinued and out of catalog, stands out for an infinitely higher level of detail, finishes and textures than the mass-market "Foundation" line. DETAILS AND HISTORY OF THE MODELS PRESENTED: 1. FERRARI F430 GTC — 24 Hours of Le Mans 2006 (Ref. P9951) • The Model: 1/43 scale replica released in 2009. Gloss finish paint, clean advertising tampographs ("Realtime Worlds", "Cobra", "Carphone Warehouse"), racing wheels and competiton cockpit superbly reproduced. • The Real Car (2006): Customer competition version developed by Ferrari Corse Clienti in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili. Designed for the GT2 category, powered by a 4.0 L V8 at 90°, delivering nearly 445 horsepower, restricted according to ACO regulations. This die-cast reproduces the tri-color livery (Red, White, Blue) of car No. 87 fielded by Scuderia Ecosse at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans 2006, driven by Chris Niarchos, Andrew Kirkaldy and Tim Mullen. 2. FERRARI FXX EVOLUZIONE — 2008 (Ref. N5584) • The Model: 1/43 scale replica released in 2008. Shown in its iconic Rosso Corsa with white aerodynamic stripes. Details such as the engine block visible behind the glass, ceramic brake discs and the separate rear wing attest to the Elite line’s excellence. • The Real Car (2008): A true rolling laboratory not homologated for the road, derived from the legendary Enzo Ferrari. The Evoluzione package pushes the car’s performance to the extreme: its central 6,262 cm³ naturally aspirated V12 screams to 8,500 rpm, delivering a staggering 860 horsepower.
