Horst Antes (1936), after - Sühneengel - Artprint - 90 x 68 cm

Large-format art print after Horst Antes – “Atonement Angel” For sale is a expressive art print on rag paper after a work by the prominent German artist Horst Antes, published by GEP Galerie, Frankfurt am Main. Antes is among the formative representatives of the New Figuration of the post-war period and developed a distinctive visual language with archaic-looking figures and powerfully reduced forms. His works combine expressive impact with clear structural composition. The motif “Atonement Angel” shows a characteristic figurative representation with intense color effect and striking presence. The reduced formal language lends the sheet a timeless, modern radiance. Thanks to the generous format, the print has a strong wall presence and is ideally suited as a statement piece for design-oriented living spaces and gallery walls.
