Vintage Hermès silk scarf “Versailles Le Pavé Du Roy” 1954 Hugo Grygkar Dive into the grandeur of history with the Hermès silk scarf titled “Le Pavé du Roy,” an extraordinary design by Hugo Grygkar from 1953/1954 and reissued in 1975. This bold and captivating design depicts the bronze statue of King Louis XIV, the iconic figure who has welcomed visitors to the Palace of Versailles opposite the Avenue de Paris since 2009. The scarf’s intricate details bring to life the royal essence of this monument, celebrating both the splendor of the king’s heritage and Hermes’ artistry.
