Magnificent Hermès scarf in silk twill titled "La source de Pégase", designed by artist Pierre Marie in 2020. Single and unique edition, therefore rare and sought after. Hand-rolled. Made in France. Hermès Paris logo, copyright Hermès C, signature of the artist Pierre Marie. Presence of a care label. A bit of history: "Winged horse and divine creature of Greek mythology, Pegasus caused a spring to gush forth with one kick of its hoof. Named Hippocrene it is located on Mount Helicon in Greece. The nine Muses, daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory, came there to drink. Pierre Marie's narrative flair is expressed through line and composition. His drawing is an allegory of the birth of an idea and tells this marvelous story. It features a Pegasus with radiant wings, Muses dancing in a can-can around in a joyful and fantastical setting, as earthly as it is comic."
