"The Christening Ring" - a late Empire child ring of app. 18k gold, chased with beaded border, interior with three pin-pricked letters. Accompanying note in Danish: The Christening Ring. F. and Ch. Sehested's 14 Children wore it at their Christening. Stamped monogram AS and attributed to Hans Andreas Schiellerup, licensed in Odense 1831-1877. Also marked MP plus presumably a crescent moon and a building. Diam. 12 mm. Later case included. (3)
