全部拍賣 / Vehicles / Handmade by Social Art Group - ***ROADSTER IN EXCALLIBUR...
**Combination Set – Handmade Yellow Metal Roadster in Excalibur Style & Vintage-Style Wall Sign – Social Art Group – Germany** A distinctive **combination set comprising two items**: a handmade yellow metal roadster in Excalibur style and a decorative metal wall sign featuring a classic sports car, colourful graffiti and American licence plate motifs. An appealing display for automobilia collectors and classic car enthusiasts. The roadster catches the eye with its long bonnet, sweeping mudguards, wire-spoke wheels, black seats and prominent silver-coloured exhaust pipes. The rear-mounted spare wheel, radiator grille and decorative engine details add character. Its yellow finish with an aged effect highlights the handcrafted metalwork. At **28 cm long**, this is a substantial decorative piece that can be admired from several angles. The accompanying vintage-style wall sign completes the automotive theme. Display both together on a cabinet, or hang the sign above a console table with the roadster below. **The appeal of the roadster** A roadster traditionally refers to an open-top, two-seat car designed around the enjoyment of driving. Classic roadsters are admired for their long bonnets, low seating positions and flowing bodywork—features that evoke touring along coastal roads and the atmosphere of early motoring. This decorative interpretation captures that spirit through its open cockpit, exposed details and elegant proportions. Its Excalibur-style appearance combines nostalgic automotive design with the expressive character of a handmade metal object. An attractive addition to a living room, study, garage, collector’s cabinet or man cave, and an original gift for a motoring enthusiast. **Handmade in Germany with a social purpose** The metal roadster is **handmade in Germany** by participants in the **Social Art Group**, a project operating within several workshops and day activity centres for people with disabilities. With care and creativity, the participants produce metal objects including cars, motorcycles, aeroplanes and tractors. The visible craftsmanship in the construction and finish gives this roadster its individual character. I regularly purchase objects from these workshops and also support their work financially. **In addition to the purchase price, they receive a further contribution from me equal to 10% of this lot’s achieved auction value.** I fund this contribution myself; there is no additional charge to the buyer. **Contents and dimensions** - **Handmade metal roadster in Excalibur style:** 28 cm long × 12 cm wide × 10 cm high. - **Decorative metal wall sign:** 25 cm wide × 20 cm high. - **Both items are included in this lot.** **Photographs and description** The photographs bearing the watermark **“ORIGINELE FOTO’S” (“ORIGINAL PHOTOS”)** show the offered objects and their appearance and form part of the description.
