The piece stands out for its rich raised decorative work and its high ornamental value. The shaped back plate is rich with decorative scrolls in a fully Baroque style. The surface preserves a magnificent original patina of the time with natural dark shading and signs of oxidation that attest to its authenticity and age. Excellent structural condition; the swinging handle is perfectly mobile and sturdy.
