Both cylindrical cases feature sterling silver mounts, hallmarked in Birmingham, England, in 1925, with the maker's mark H.J.C., attributed to H. J. Cooper & Co Ltd. The four steel manicure instruments include nail-care and cuticle-care tools, with the blades marked English Steel.
