GuS Saint-AmouR - CiTy LoVeR

GuS, a French painter internationally recognized, whose works have been auctioned and prize-winning in numerous competitions. His creations stand as true little street-art gems to collect. His latest work, hand-painted on a 35×15 cm road-sign panel (taken out of the road network and recycled), is imbued with the poetry of mural fauna. His market is robust: he forges a unique visual confrontation. He juxtaposes the obsessive hyperrealism of fauna with the brutal expressive force of graffiti and the advertising Pop-Rock iconography. He is also greatly inspired by the minimalism of Asian art. An authenticity certificate signed in the artist’s own hand will be provided. Each canvas is an urgent mirror that questions our place and that of the living in our urban world. His recurring subjects—the defense of animals and the Vanities—testify to a powerful reflection. His secret and strength: GuS is color blind. This singularity forced him to deconstruct chromatic rules to create a bold visual language that sometimes approaches abstraction. Buy GuS to acquire a world view filtered, reinvented and acclaimed by the market.
