Silver coin featuring on the obverse a representation of three volcanoes crowned by a radiant sun, emblematic motif of Guatemalan iconography that symbolizes the territory and freedom, in a simple but well-defined style. The reverse presents the face value 1/4 Real in the center, surrounded by a vegetal crown and accompanied at the bottom by five stars, alluding to the old Central American federation. The specimen shows an excellent state of preservation, with sharp relief, clean fields with a slight silvery tone and soft patina, highlighting an attractive original shine and a well-centered strike typical of a high-quality minting.
