Grande Uovo Rosa Opalino con Supporto a Corona - 38x20 cm - Italia

Exceptional Murano Glass Sculpture – Large Opal Pink Egg with a Blue Cobalt Crown-shaped Stand and Gold Leaf - Italy, 1970s Magnificent and imposing Murano glass decorative piece from the 1970s: a superb sculpture composed of a large decorative egg resting on a precious hot-work base. Design and Artistic Craftsmanship The egg, blown and skillfully shaped, is characterized by a delicate and enveloping peach-pink shade with elegant opalescent reflections (reminiscent of purple-pink hues). Its pure, minimalist line contrasts masterfully with its pedestal: a superb stand shaped like a stylized crown or frayed corona, hot-worked in deep and bright cobalt blue glass. The blue base is further enriched and illuminated by a dense and luxurious inclusion of submerged gold leaf, creating a magnificent golden craquelé effect and a striking color contrast. This combination of techniques and colors makes the piece a unique work of the highest craftsmanship. Placement and Style This wonderful artistic object, of remarkable size and strong scenographic impact, will illuminate spaces with a touch of vibrant originality. Its design makes it ideal as a prestigious centerpiece in a living room, as a striking element on a low table, to enhance a bookshelf, or even to give character to a sophisticated and elegant environment. Entirely handmade by the glass masters of the island, it is the emblem of the best Made in Italy: a refined piece of furniture that will allow you to bring the unmistakable Italian style into your home, combining artistic creativity with the beauty of form.
