Globe bar - Wood

Vintage wooden floor-standing globe bar on wheels, featuring a opensable globe with antique cartography and a lower shelf decorated with the compass rose. This splendid furnishing accessory combines the practicality of a bar cabinet with the beauty of a classic decorative piece. The upper hemisphere opens to reveal a spacious interior compartment, ideal for securely housing bottles of liquor and a glassware set. The map reproduced on the globe's surface draws inspiration from 16th- to 17th-century antique cartography, rich with fascinating details, illustrations of period ships, sea monsters and constellations, all printed in warm tones evoking the look of aged parchment. Solid four-legged carved wooden frame, connected by a lower base finely decorated with a reproduction of the compass rose (usable as an extra shelf for bottles). Equipped with convenient swivel caster wheels at the base for easy movement to any corner of the room.
