Glen Grant 10 years old - b. 1980s - 75cl - 2 bottles

Glen Grant 10 Years Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky – Vintage Italian Bottlings – 75cl 43% – 2 Bottles A pair of vintage bottles of Glen Grant 10 Years Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky from the historic Glen Grant Distillery in Scotland. The lot consists of two matching 75cl bottles, both at 43% vol., featuring the classic vintage Glen Grant Pure Malt presentation. Bottle details: - Brand: Glen Grant - Expression: 10 Years Old - Style: Pure Malt Scotch Whisky - Distillery: Glen Grant Distillery Company - Location: Edinburgh and Rothes, Scotland - Bottle size: 75cl each - Alcohol: 43% vol. - Number of bottles: 2 - Bottled in Scotland - Italian importer: Seagram Italia S.p.A., Milano 2 – Segrate - Bottling period: probably dating from the 1980s Both bottles feature the characteristic historic Glen Grant presentation of the period, including the distinctive rectangular bottle shape, dark neck capsule and traditional illustrated Pure Malt Scotch Whisky labels. The front labels state "Glen Grant 10 Years Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky", 43% vol. and 75cl. The rear labels carry the traditional Glen Grant historical description and state that the whisky was distilled and bottled in Scotland under British Government Supervision. These are vintage Italian-market bottlings. Original Italian tax markings are present, showing significant age-related wear and patina. Condition: Both bottles are sealed and have very good fill levels considering their age. The labels show visible signs of age, including yellowing, staining, foxing and general age-related wear. The labels are complete but show the natural patina expected from bottles of this age. The original neck capsules and Italian tax markings also show significant age-related wear. One of the tax strips is particularly worn, stained and partially damaged, as clearly visible in the photographs. The bottles themselves are in good condition, with no obvious cracks or major damage visible. There is no original box included. No visible leakage is apparent. Please carefully examine all photographs, which form an integral part of the description and show the exact two bottles included in this lot. An attractive matching pair of vintage Glen Grant 10 Years Old Pure Malt Scotch Whisky, particularly interesting for collectors of historic Scotch whisky and vintage Italian-market bottlings.
