The circular porcelain base is decorated with a climbing rose vine and bears an incised Giuseppe Armani signature and a blue crowned N mark beside a copyright date of 1999. A gold-toned oval label on the front of the square dark wood plinth reads 1973 Florence Giuseppe Armani, and a label on the underside identifies the model as 1172F Born to Dance, Made in Italy.
