全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Gilded Pyrite Aesthetic with Quartz and Dolomite on Brown...
From our selection of collectible minerals, we present a remarkable group of siderite crystals with pyrite, quartz, and dolomite from Allevard, Isère, France. Moreover, it features large siderite crystals with the typical brown-gold coloration, coated by a dense distribution of small golden pyrite crystals and prismatic and transparent quartz crystals, with a strong color contrast between the metallic yellow of pyrite and the brown hues of the matrix, enriched by a rare provenance and an uncommon mineralogical association that increase its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that enhance its natural structure and visual impact. Siderite is an iron carbonate (FeCO3) whose typical brown-yellow color is due to the iron contained in the crystal structure, which can shift toward darker tones due to surface oxidation. The Allevard mining district, in the French Alps, is historically known for its iron deposits, exploited since ancient times and now exhausted, which have yielded some of the most appreciated siderite crystallized specimens in Europe. Pyrite, present here in small golden crystals, crystallizes in the cubic system and owes its nickname “fool’s gold” to its color resemblance to the precious metal. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, even within the realms of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, with rare exceptions always noted in the description. Photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable and selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1–2 business days within Europe), tracked and insured shipping, and professional and secure packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries may also occur the day after payment depending on the destination. It is possible to accumulate multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different end dates, simply by contacting us to organize the consolidation. For important pieces, direct home delivery by appointment or at major European trade fairs is also available.
