The box is original on the front signed in soft pencil by Joseph Beuys («Joseph Beuys»). Under appropriate lighting the typical silvery graphite sheen of the pencil lead on the cardboard is nicely visible (see detail photos). Content & Motifs: The box contains 29 authentic and unused/undescribed postcards from the well-known Series of the Edition Staeck. Among them are Beuys’ absolute main works and icons: «la rivoluzione siamo Noi» (the famous full-portrait) «Demokratie ist lustig» (Occupation of the Düsseldorf Art Academy 1972) «Cosmos = Damian» (Twin Towers New York) «Gib mir Honig» «wer nicht denken will fliegt raus» «Klaus Staeck ist mein politischer Gegner» «Kitschpostkarte / Künstler für die SPD» «Die Wärmezeitmaschine in der Ökonomie» and other photo cards as well as linguistic works.
