Swan Chair (Model 3320) by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen - Premium Leather (2002). Description: Absolute icon of mid-century Scandinavian design, originally designed in 1958 by Danish master Arne Jacobsen for the suites of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. This piece in particular was manufactured by the prestigious Fritz Hansen firm and acquired in Spain in 2002. The chair is in excellent condition (practically like new), as it has belonged to a private collection and has had little functional use. It shows no deformations in the molded foam nor significant wear. It is upholstered in a robust, very high-quality leather with a warm mid tone, ranging between the depths of walnut and the natural orange/brown reflections of aging premium leather with elegant patina. The clean organic frame has no straight lines, resting on an iconic four-spoke swivel base in satin-finished light-aluminum of top quality. It bears the Fritz Hansen manufacturer’s authenticity stamp/label beneath the frame. A timeless collectible piece ideal for both contemporary spaces and high-end investment.
