French school (XX) - Nature morte au bouquet de fleurs dans un vase

Charming and luminous pictorial composition executed in oil on canvas, signed by the artist Plumeau at the bottom left (identity not certified). The work depicts a rich bouquet of flowers in vibrant hues (deep blues, soft pinks and bright whites) emerging from a terracotta vase. The knife-work or thick brush (impasto) creates a beautiful relief and a lively texture across the entire bouquet. The background alternates soft shades of blue-gray and a contrasting green table. The piece is housed in an elegant antique moulded and gilded frame with a textured canvas mat. Ideal for lovers of floral still lifes and modern painting. Neat packing and secure shipping with tracking and insurance.
