Fratelli Reguitti - Dressboy - Walnut, Wood - Reguitti Brothers

Fantastic vintage servomuto with a pants-stretcher, a classic piece of Italian modern design produced by the renowned Fratelli Reguitti, dating roughly to the 1950s/60s. The central wooden body consists of two parallel panels connected by a lateral pressure mechanism (visible with the metal lever on the side). This system is used to crease the pants by applying pressure to eliminate wrinkles. The upper part is shaped like a solid-wood hanger, ideal for storing jackets or shirts without creasing them. Just beneath the hanger there is a small wooden shelf with brass inserts, intended as a pocket-emptying tray to store small daily accessories such as watches, cufflinks, coins, or keys. Below there are two additional removable compartments lined in green velvet, particularly original. This model is especially valuable and rare because it is made of walnut wood, with gilded brass details, and equipped with wheels at the base for easy movement in the bedroom. The Fratelli Reguitti company, based in Borgosatollo (Brescia), was the absolute reference in Italy and Europe for this kind of home accessories, often collaborating with important designers of the era.
