Fratelli Fancuillacci - Vase - Earthenware - Vintage bottle vase

Beautiful mid-century modern Italian ceramic bottle vase made by the renowned studio Fratelli Fanciullacci from Montelupo Fiorentino, Italy. This specific type of pottery is known for the rustic, unglazed terracotta base combined with the characteristic sgraffito technique. In this process, the outlines of the stylized animals (in this case a white horse and a yellow giraffe and a red horse and a green giraffe) are deeply scratched into the clay surface and then colored with a vivid, contrasting glaze. Mint condition. Sent by registered mail.
