Several routes are represented, including Bordeaux–Toulouse, Cherbourg–Paris, Paris–Cherbourg, Marseille–Lyon, Paris–Strasbourg and other lines. The lot also contains various special cancellations and multiple stamps with old notes from a collector. The handwritten identifications of the routes are not all verified. Interesting to collectors of French philately and postal history. The stamps have not been systematically checked for varieties, color nuances, or plate errors.
