Frame - Wood - Golden frame, gold leaf

19th-century frame with a wide moulding of a classical profile and a gold leaf finish. Its sober, stepped lines enhance the luminosity of the gilding, with an aged patina that adds character and charm. Shows wear, cracks and losses visible in the gilding and the moulding, especially on the sides, as shown in the photographs. A piece with restoration possibilities, ideal for framing a painting, incorporating a mirror, or using as a decorative element.
