Frame - Wood, Gold - The 1950s, with a glovebox.

Elegant vintage frame dating from the 1950s, crafted according to the classic Italian cabinetmaking tradition in the so-called "a guantiera" style. This distinctive profile, characterized by a concave and inward-flaring molding, is historically designed to draw the eye to the center, imparting extraordinary depth and prominence to paintings, oil on panel, mirrors, or prints. The surface is adorned with a warm artisanal gilding finished with an antique patina and warm tones, which give the piece a refined retro flavor and a highly decorative, lively texture. On the back you can notice the solid original solid-wood structure, with period annotations and provisions for mounting.
