全部拍賣 / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Frame - Wood, gold leaf frame - antique frame with gold leaf
Antique Rectangular Mirror in Baroque / Napoleon III Style – Wooden and Gilded Gesso Frame – Late 19th / Early 20th Century Elegant wall mirror dating from the late 19th or early 20th century, characterized by a sumptuous rectangular frame in wood and gilded gesso, finely worked. The frame features rich relief decoration with continuous motifs of floral taste, leafy tendrils and botanical details that recall the splendor of Baroque style and the Napoleon III period. The gilding shows a splendid patina of time with warm, darkened hues that enhance its three-dimensionality and authenticity. A piece of furniture of great charm and versatility, perfect for embellishing entrances, living rooms or bedrooms, fitting harmoniously in both antique contexts and in environments with eclectic and modern design. The mirror is presented in good structural condition with normal signs of wear and aging on the gilding, elements that attest to its history and add to its charm.
