Fragments-Horizon - JIAN MA

Fragments-Horizon by JIAN MA Painting 39.0 x 32.0 :: Horizon brings a pale blue curve into dialogue with an open cream field a warm ochre plane and a deep black vertical band. A small peach-coloured disc and a slender diagonal line introduce quiet points of tension within the spacious composition. Jane M. reduces the suggestion of a landscape to a few essential relationships: near and far weight and openness stillness and direction. The horizon emerges through the meeting of forms rather than a continuous line evoking a place held between observation and memory. Visible brushwork lends a tactile presence to the restrained geometry. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Contemporary Subject: Abstract Width: 39.0 Height: 32.0 Depth: 1.5 Weight: 7.72 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
