A rare and fascinating fossil of a sea urchin belonging to the species Asterocidaris Bistriata. It is considered the oldest fossil of the Echinoidea class and dates to the Jurassic period. In addition to the allure of its age, this specimen stands out for the perfect preservation of the shell and the professional preparation that has brought to light a myriad of meticulous details. Even the spines are a sight to behold, being numerous, in excellent condition, and very large. Mounted on an artisanal wooden base with wrought iron, it becomes an elegant furnishing element, in addition to being an important collectible piece.
