Fog & Mørup - Claus Bonderup

Offered, without reserve price, an elegant Danish design pendant lamp, model Semi, designed by Claus Bonderup and Thorsten Thorup and produced in the 1960s by Fog & Mørup. The lamp distinguishes itself by the characteristic, flowing shape and the wide, saucer-shaped shade with an elegantly tapering top. The minimalist design combines Scandinavian simplicity with a powerful, sculptural look. The lamp distributes most of the light downward and is thus excellent above a dining table or desk. The dimensions are approximately 30 cm high and 60 cm in diameter. The lamp is presumably an original vintage piece, but unfortunately the factory sticker is missing. The lamp is in beautiful condition. It comes with a metal tube that fits exactly over the top. I don’t know what this tube is for. The top has paint damage as a result. Furthermore, the shade at the top has a scrape (see detail photo). This lamp has now been fitted with a nice new cord.
