Figure - Prachtige 7-delige Russische...

A stunning and highly artistic 7-piece Matryoshka doll with a deep red-black color palette. On the apron of the dolls, there is a very detailed miniature painting depicting a classical Russian winter fairy tale at twilight. This type of doll is strongly inspired by the famous Russian traditions of lacquer miniatures (such as from the villages Palekh or Fedoskino). The successive dolls in the nest are beautifully decorated with intricate floral motifs and traditional winter clothing. • Origin: Russia • Number of parts: 7 (Complete set) • Height: approx. 20 cm • Condition: Very good condition. The lacquer shines beautifully and the colors have remained deep and vivid.
