Federica Belloli - Grafted light

Grafted Light — Resilience Series Grafted Light continues the Resilience series, where fractures are not concealed but repaired, and the act of repair becomes part of the artwork itself. In this painting, gold no longer simply follows the cracks. It begins to branch and grow, like a graft taking root, transforming what was once broken into a source of new life. Inspired by nature's quiet resilience, the work reflects on the ability to adapt and regenerate without erasing the traces of the past. Gold becomes a symbol of continuity and transformation. Botanical collage on black tissue paper merges with the painted surface, creating delicate layers where organic forms and golden lines intertwine.
