FAKE - SUPER NURSE - 2020

FAKE – “Super Nurse” An icon of the COVID era, “Super Nurse,” created by Dutch artist FAKE, pays a heartfelt tribute to those who found themselves on the front lines when the world came to a standstill. The famous Superman emblem, incorporated into the nurse’s mask, transforms this everyday figure into a true modern heroine—a symbol of courage, self-sacrifice, and hope. Created in partnership with “Amplifier,” an American nonprofit organization dedicated to creating artistic campaigns that support major contemporary social movements, this work transcends the simple framework of a poster to become a powerful testament to an era that has left its mark on history. FAKE’s urban and socially conscious style, blending influences from street art and pop culture, gives this creation an immediate visual impact. A piece that will appeal to both contemporary art collectors and enthusiasts of meaningful works.
