Splendid and elegant decorative pitcher (or monumental bottle) in artistic ceramic, produced by the famous Italian manufactory "F.lli Marchi" of Brescia (active from the mid-20th century). The lot bears on the bottom the original mark of the manufactory, guaranteeing authenticity. The piece is a perfect example of Italian Mid-Century Modern design, strongly influenced by Brutalist currents and the exoticism of the 1960s/1970s. Artistic features and details: • Material finish: The body of the pitcher features a spectacular bubbly texture with a "lava stone" or natural rock effect, finished in shades of white and gray, pleasant to the touch and with a strong visual impact. • Raised decoration: On the front develops a wonderful vertical panel finely engraved and hand-painted.
