This Gobelin tapestry represents a scene of strong aesthetic appeal inspired by traditional Japanese imagery, built with a refined balance between feminine elegance, nature, and seasonal symbolism. Scene composition At the center of the composition appears an Asian female figure, depicted frontally but with the body slightly rotated. The posture is composed and aristocratic: the hands gently hold a traditional Japanese umbrella (wagasa) opened behind her. The woman wears a long, flowing kimono in light, soft tones, enriched by delicate textile decorations and a bright red obi belt that introduces the main chromatic contrast of the work.
