Oil on canvas painting depicting the detailed interior of a Gothic church, created in the late 19th century. The artwork showcases a structured perspective of the church's architecture, featuring pointed stone arches, vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows in the background, and traditional ecclesiastical furnishings including choir stalls, decorative rugs, and altar objects. The painting is signed and dated by the artist in the lower left corner as "H. Ryde '98", indicating its creation in 1898. The piece is presented in a period-appropriate profiled wooden frame with a gilded inner slip. On the reverse, the canvas is stretched over a wooden stretcher frame. The back features a handwritten date notation ("Dez 1977") on the top bar and an additional handwritten inscription by the artist or a previous owner on the bottom bar, noting the artist's name and likely the location or name of the depicted church. Measurements: Width: 40 cm Height: 51 cm Depth: 3 cm This piece has been carefully cleaned and is in good antique condition. Please note that the delivery time for the furniture is 2-5 weeks.
