Description of Sheet 1: Origin country: Honduras (República de Honduras). Issue: Commemorative series of 1943 celebrating the extension of the presidential term of General Tiburcio Carias Andino ("Conmemorativo Prolongación del Período Presidencial hasta el 1º de Enero de 1943"). Subjects represented: At the bottom of the page (in the photo): Large-format stamps showing the portrait of President Carias, the Fuente General Carias Bridge, and the mottos Paz, Trabajo, Ciencia (Peace, Work, Science). At the top of the page: Different stamps of Honduras from issues of the 1930s–1940s (map of the country, Choluteca Bridge, portraits). Condition: Canceled stamps (purple/black stamps visible). Description of Sheet 2: Origin country: Jamaica, then a British colony. Periods depicted: Victorian era (late 19th century): Stamps featuring Queen Victoria (purple, green, blue, pink profiles). Early 20th century: Stamps "Arms of Jamaica" (coat of arms with ships and mottos). George VI reign (1930s–1940s): Notably the gray/blue rectangular stamp of the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth dated 12 May 1937. Condition: The majority of stamps are canceled (marked with black postmarks dating from the period). Description of Sheet 3: Origin country: Australia and the former colony of Western Australia. Motifs and subjects represented: "Swan" series from Western Australia: Several stamps depict the famous black swan emblematic of the territory (Western Australia). Australian fauna and flora: Stamps featuring the Merino sheep (5d violet), the koala (4d green), and the platypus/ornithorhynchus (1s green). Commemorative issues: notably the pink-red 1s 6d stamp celebrating the air postal service (USA - Australia / telecommunications). Condition: Most stamps are canceled (marked with postmarks). Description of Sheet 4: Origin country: Hungary (Magyar Királyi Posta / Magyarország).
