全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / Escuela Impresionista Italiana (XIX) - Vista de Venecia
Title: View of Venice School: European Impressionist (19th century) Style: Impressionism Technique: Oil on canvas Condition: Condition of conservation appropriate for its age. It presents slight losses and restorations. Circle and artistic influence: The work is situated within the 19th-century European landscape tradition, with clear proximity to Impressionist painting and late Italian vedutismo. The loose brushwork, the atmospheric handling of light, and the simplification of architectures suggest the influence of painters who worked on Venetian views from a more spontaneous and luminous perspective, progressively moving away from the topographic precision of academic veduta. The composition presents a Venetian scene dominated by a calm canal, flanked by light-toned buildings that extend into the background. In the center of the scene a traditional boat with a figure aboard stands out, an element that introduces a narrative note and serves as the main focal point of the composition. A multi-arched bridge structures the middle ground and visually leads toward the depth of the urban landscape. The palette is built from grayish tones, ochres, whites, and subdued blues, with small reddish and dark accents concentrated mainly on the boat. The brushwork is free and visible, especially in the treatment of the façades and the reflections on the water, contributing an atmospheric quality characteristic of Impressionist painting. The wide, slightly veiled sky contributes to a soft and even luminosity. The work is presented framed with a wide wooden frame in an aged cream tone, with stepped moldings and a slightly distressed finish. Its patinated appearance harmonizes with the clean, sober chromatic range of the painting. Observations: It presents slight losses and restorations, typical of a work of this age. The artwork may incur damage during transport even with proper packaging. In such cases, we will require photographs of the damages to proceed with compensation. Customer satisfaction is always our priority. Exceptionally, shipping costs may be affected by an additional charge for reasons such as being outside a continental territory, excessive dimensions, or weight of the item. PremiArt will not cover this surcharge. The courier that must pass through the Swiss border can be delayed much more than normal, so, if possible, to speed up the processing, we will provide the customs number that is holding the shipment so that the customer can unlock it and thus ensure it reaches its destination. Experience has taught us that this is the most effective solution for both parties. Due to the high volume of shipments, it is possible that the order is delayed by more than three days, for which we apologize and thank you for your patience. If you have any questions about your order, please contact us via internal messaging. Dimensions: 28 × 37 cm Dimensions with frame: 48 × 67 cm
