Shaped by decomposed granite soils and the cooling breezes of False Bay, this collection showcases the resilience, character, and world-class finesse of Stellenbosch Cabernet Sauvignon. 2018: Resilience & Concentration Produced during the peak of a historic drought, the 2018 vintage yielded wines of remarkable intensity and depth. Cool February conditions and timely pre-harvest rains encouraged slow, balanced ripening despite low yields. Deep ruby in colour, this Cabernet shows dark fruit, cedar and firm tannins, with the structure to mature beautifully through 2031. 2019: Finesse & Maritime Elegance A cooler growing season and moderate summer temperatures resulted in refined colour, excellent phenolic ripeness and a confident, structured style. Balancing power with elegance, the wine reveals a lingering maritime character. With vibrant acidity and poised fruit concentration, this vintage offers a nuanced expression of the Firgrove terroir and will continue evolving over the next 15 years. 2020: Balance & Vibrant Structure Favourable growing conditions in 2020 delivered healthy grapes and improved yields. The wine combines richness with freshness, showing concentrated flavours, vibrant acidity and elegant tannins. Its superb balance and structure ensure graceful ageing over the next decade and beyond.
