The depicted work is a polymateric screen print with collage entitled Geneviève Prémoy, known as the Cavalier Balthasar, created by the Italian artist Enrico Baj in 1975. Hand-signed in the lower right and numbered. Limited edition 53/250. The work is part of the famous graphic and collage portfolio titled Le dame di casa Baj. Colored screen print enriched with collage of passementerie, tassels, buttons and textile materials, distinctive elements of the artist's ironic and grotesque style. Published in the General Catalog of original prints, Milano, Edizioni Electa, 1986, ill. p. 133 n. 461. Enrico Baj was an Italian painter, sculptor and essayist, born in Milan on 31 October 1924 and died in Vergiate on 16 June 2003. Excellent condition.
