The acrylic lines are embossed for a striking optical effect and, above all, original—the artistic DNA of ELMAGO! The artist, originally from Marseille, cut his teeth with tagging and graffiti in the northern districts of the Phocaean city before trying his hand at other forms of expression: abstract, figurative, collage and assemblage. He has become a major name in the last decade with this atypical modus operandi that blends different techniques and disciplines of modern art. The world’s biggest consumer-market brands and the greatest figures of international pop culture are systematically cut out, torn, stripped, mixed and assembled in infinite graffiti-collage compositions to produce unique, colorful paintings that tell a story to the spectator, collector...
