Antique electrocardiograph, specifically a "Sanborn Cardiette" model produced by the "Sanborn Company," an American model from the 1930s–1940s. This type of device—a portable electrocardiograph (ECG) or cardioscope—features a wooden case with a metal control panel and a paper-strip printing mechanism. It was used by doctors in the mid-20th century to record the heart's electrical activity. The instrument, used in the medical field, is capable of showing cardiac activity and reproducing it graphically thanks to the electrical manifestations that the heartbeat transmits to the instrument. The function of the electrocardiograph, therefore, is to record the heart’s pulsations, automatically converting them into waves on the specific graph paper. The measurements are: Height: 27 cm Length: 36 cm Depth: 18 cm
