Elegant Vintage Pendant with Natural Pearls & Diamonds, c. 2000

Two pearls, many diamonds and cool platinum have come together to create this pendant. The design begins with a wide, semi-circular showpiece that stretches around a light brown sparkling brilliant cut diamond. Small white diamonds frame the larger stone. To the right and left below the frame, further diamonds lead down to two shimmering pearls. These are two natural pearls, i.e. naturally grown saltwater pearls, not inexpensive cultured pearls. One pearl shimmers in a warm créme white, the other pearl is a soft gray-brown. Together with the light brown brilliant cut diamond and the white of the platinum, this creates a shimmering harmony of colour nuances. At the same time, the pendant looks like a variation on different materials. The hard metal, the soft-looking pearls and the diamonds, which seem to consist only of light, combine to create something new and unique. The pendant was created in recent years, as evidenced by its workmanship and design. It is in very good condition and has been worn very little. We have had an independent appraisal carried out on the pendant, which confirms the quality of the materials.
