The 1980s were a decade full of energy and confidence. New opportunities opened up, shop windows shone brightly and there was a sense of abundance in the air. Women were more confident than ever before, they demanded space, took it and adorned themselves with shapes and colors that expressed courage and strength. Jewelry was allowed to be big, allowed to shine, allowed to be seen. The earrings presented here were created in this spirit. Twenty-four intense blue sapphires are set close together in high-carat gold. Their precise faceting makes the blue glow with every movement, as if light were falling through water. Fourteen brilliant-cut diamonds of the highest quality accompany the sapphires. They are gently set in a graduated pattern and bring a lively fire to the swing of the ear studs. The shape of the design is soft and harmonious. Two parallel tracks of blue and white nestle forward in a slight curve. Clear lines, luxurious materials and sparkling colors combine to create a pair of earrings that reveal the spirit of their era. Self-confident, luminous and elegant at the same time, ready to attract admiring glances again today. The earrings come with a detailed appraisal. We discovered them here in Berlin.
