El Supremo SAS Aurian - 5yo & 12yo - 70cl - 3 bottles

Exclusive Auction: Three premium Paraguayan bottles of the legendary El Supremo brand – two 5-year-olds and one 12-year-old – for collectors of unique, handcrafted, aged agricultural rums! This select lot comprises two bottles of El Supremo 5-Year-Old Rum and one bottle of El Supremo 12-Year-Old Rum (all from Paraguay's oldest distillery, founded in 1909, with Guarani traditions and artisanal processes). These agricultural rums are made with 100% pure, fresh sugarcane honey (hand-pressed juice, not molasses), traditionally distilled in copper pot stills, and double-aged: first in Brown Incense barrels (a native Paraguayan wood that imparts smoke, tannins, caramel, toffee, and nutty notes) and then in French oak for refinement and complexity. Natural, with no additives or coloring, and unfiltered – ideal for appreciating the evolution of the Paraguayan subtropical terroir. Standard 70cl bottles, 38-40% ABV, original labels intact (classic and elegant design), excellent liquid level, and impeccable condition – perfect for collectors of rare South American rums, comparative tastings, or expanding a premium inventory with a woody and authentic character. Star Piece 1: El Supremo 5 Year Old Rum (double bottle) A youthful and vibrant expression, the "gateway" to the range: aged for 5 years in double barrels for freshness and tropical energy. Light amber color with golden highlights. • Profile: Lively and fresh nose with freshly cut sugarcane, bright citrus (lime, mandarin), herbal yerba mate, young vanilla, white flowers, and subtle native wood smoke; on the palate, light and silky with soft caramel, vanilla, tropical fruits (pineapple, guava), spices (clove), and a clean, refreshing, and slightly spicy finish with balanced sweetness. Delicate and vibrant texture, with vegetal notes that highlight its youth. • Style: Fresh, approachable, and balanced – ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, or in tropical cocktails. Double bottle for greater availability, comparison, or to reserve. Star Piece 2: El Supremo 12 Year Old Rum. The top of the range: aged for 12 years in double barrels for exceptional richness and smoothness, considered “flawless” by experts. Deep amber color with coppery highlights. • Profile: Polished and complex nose with clove, cinnamon, rich vanilla, aged wood, dried fruits (raisins, figs), caramel, toffee, milk chocolate, and subtle smoky notes; sweet and wood-forward on the palate with creamy vanilla, butterscotch, burnt caramel, walnut, warm spices, subtle chocolate, and a long, persistent, and smooth finish with spicy warmth, lingering sweetness, and earthy notes. Full, velvety, and elegant texture, with profound evolution thanks to time and the oak aging. • Style: contemplative, smooth, and aromatically rich – perfect for sipping neat or chilled, as a premium digestif. Ideal for appreciating the complexity of Brown Incense. This trio (two Supremo 5 Years + one Supremo 12 Years) offers a fascinating progression: from the fresh and vibrant 5 Years to the mature, woody, and luxurious 12 Years, with the youthful version also available for versatility. These are not mass-produced: they represent centuries-old Guarani heritage, exclusive double aging, and increasing value in collections of premium agricultural rums and rare Paraguayan spirits. Bid on this legendary lot – liquid treasures of Paraguay in their purest form!
