This collection constitutes an intact postally historical archive of exceptional coherence. It tells the journey of a European visitor between Cairo, Luxor, and Port Said. Lot Composition (26 pieces total): • Lot 1: 11 Used Postcards (Postal History). Mailed as a block on March 24, 1903 from the Port-Said post office. Each piece is canceled with the original "Postes Egyptiennes" 1 Millieme (Sphinx and Pyramids) stamp, canceled by the era’s sharp bilingual circular postmark. • Lot 2: 15 New/Unsent Postcards. Preserved by the traveler as mementos. Exceptional historical note: two postcards bear on the front the original ink autograph annotation from the period "Cairo 24-3-903" and "Near the Pharaohs’ Pyramids 24-3-903", definitively confirming the dating of the entire archive.
