Droog Design

ew & unused teapot by designer Richard Hutten for Droog Design. The model named "Handle With Care" dates from 2014, and only 1,000 pieces were produced. Richard Hutten's teapot is based on a classic Chinese teapot, and it gives it a bold, modern twist. The original was cast iron, but Hutten swapped it for sleek porcelain, making it lighter and fresher. Instead of the usual delicate curve of the handle, Richard Hutten borrowed the grip from an old-fashioned iron. Bright red and easy to grip, it is designed to protect your hands while pouring hot tea into your mug. The dimensions are: 21 x 21 x 13 cm. Ships by registered mail and carefully packaged to guarantee the object's integrity. And for combined purchases, a single shipping rate is offered.
