Dressel & Kister Passau - Statuette

A very rare, original German porcelain holder for a powder puff in Art Deco style (the 1920s), realized as Pierrot and Pierrette (Colombine). The Pierrette ballerina wears a powder puff made of swan down as a skirt and sits in the porcelain dish. Both Pierrot and Pierrette are beautifully hand-painted. Powder box / "powder puff dish", made by the German porcelain factory Dressel, Kister & Cie. The Pierrot is numbered: 6086. (The numbering of this factory always starts with a 6). The white specks are reflections of light. In very good condition. Completely intact. ! The Pierrette sits a bit skewed and tilts slightly. Total height: 19 cm. Width: 9 cm. Length of Pierrot: 19 cm.
