Dinky Toys - Model car - Maximum Security Vehicle

Original Dinky Toys No. 105 “Maximum Security Vehicle from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons” and was first released in 1968, manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in England under license from Century 21 Toys Ltd. A beautiful and distinctive vintage Dinky Toys model, finished in white with a red chassis and orange interior. The model is in excellent condition, especially given its age. The moving/opening parts and the characteristic side entrance with a step are present. The loose accessory/crate pictured is also included. This is an original piece, not a reproduction. This example is clearly an early variant. You can tell from the red underside plate with the text “Made under licence for Century 21 Toys Ltd,” the red interior, and the classic metal/spun wheel hubs. In later versions, among other things, that Century 21 designation disappeared and the wheels changed. Manufacturer: Dinky Toys / Meccano Ltd. Number: 105 Model: Maximum Security Vehicle Made in England Original version Includes only what is shown in the photos No original box or packaging present Condition: excellent, with minor age/use-related marks appropriate for a vintage model Please inspect the photos carefully; they form an important part of the description and give a good impression of the model’s condition. A fine collectible for enthusiasts of Dinky Toys, vintage die-cast models, and Century 21.
