The piece, of monumental proportions, is entirely veneered in fine Macassar ebony, with a geometric grain arranged in a fishbone pattern on the surface of the base, imparting a visually refined effect. The upper section features four wide glass doors with adjustable interior shelves, while the lower section consists of a credenza with dark-lacquered drawers and side compartments, equipped with original metal handles of an elegant sinuous design. Inside the door is the original circular metal plate stamped “Deutsche Werkstätten A.G. Hellerau – München”, an authentic mark of quality and provenance from one of the most important workshops of the Deutscher Werkbund. Condition: solid and intact structure, with a splendid antique patina and original glazing. Shows minor signs of wear consistent with age. The locks do not operate with a key, but are mechanically functional. Transport notes: due to its size and considerable weight, local pickup is recommended.
