Iconic Zig Zag table lamp, designed by Shui L.D. Chan in 1984 and issued by Massive-Elite, Belgium. This characteristic black design lamp is a fine example of the forward-looking postmodern design of the 1980s. The lamp consists of a series of geometric, movable elements that can be placed in different positions thanks to the ingenious hinge system. As a result, the shape of the lamp changes again and again, giving it a strongly sculptural character. The combination of the black plastic/ABS construction, the pronounced geometric form and the adjustability makes this a particularly recognizable design object from the 80s.
