(◊) DENMARK. Rigsbanken i Kiobenhavn. 50 Rigsbankdaler, 1813. P-A51. Sieg 68. PMG Very Fine 20. Slightly finer grade than the same note of this type in the Bruun collection. A fairly intricate design is seen on the front, while the back is not printed. A single example grades slightly finer in the PMG population report as of the time of cataloging. The paper quality is better than the Bruun note, with a small split repair and some stains that probably don't even warrant mention. Rare type. PMG Comments "Split Repair, Stains." Provenance: From the Nordjysk Collection. (◊) This lot has been consigned from the European Union and will be shipped or picked up from our Denmark office once the auction concludes.
